VINTAGE ROLLING STONES FANS PHOTO FROM PHILLY “TATTOO YOU” TOUR (9/26/81)

Rolling Stones fans wait for the band to take the stage at JFK Stadium for the second of two shows in Philadelphia. The Stones opened their 1981 “Tattoo You” Tour in Philadelphia on the previous day, Thursday, September 25. The last time the Stones played in Philly (1978), Mick Jagger was sick and the show was shortened to the dismay of fans who rioted afterward. photo: © roger barone 1981
